The Officers have prepared the following guidance for those attending services at the church building.  All services will continue to be livestreamed via YouTube and Zoom.  Please read these carefully and note that they will be revised as new guidance is made available.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Pastor Mitch or one of the Deacons.

PREPARATION

  1. You may NOT attend if any of the following are true of you:
    • You are sick.
    • You currently have or have experienced in the last 14 days any cold or flu-like symptoms (including fever, cough, sore throat, respiratory illness, difficulty breathing).
    • You as a non-healthcare worker had close contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
  2. Please bring a mask or cloth face covering to wear while inside the building.
    • Masks MUST be worn in the building and during the service, including while singing.
    • You may briefly remove your mask if it inhibits breathing or to adjust your mask.
    • Please feel free to step outside if you need to take a short break from wearing the mask.
    • Bibles and Hymnals are not available for use. Please bring your own Bible; hymns will be projected on the screen.
  3. Offering plate will not be passed during worship service, please continue to give online or mail gifts directly to the church building.
  4. Kitchen and water fountains will not be available.
  5. Nursery will not be provided. 

CHURCH BUILDING

  • Regular cleaning of the building is performed
  • Hand-sanitizer will be provided at entrance point
  • All seating areas will accommodate at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) of physical distancing
  • Three seating areas are provided as follows:
    1. Sanctuary – The service will be live in this room
      • You are required to wear a mask in this room.
      • Children under 2 do not need to wear a mask.
    2. Sunday School Room – The service will be live-streamed on a projector screen
      • This room is reserved for adults over the age of 60 or person of any age with underlying medical conditions (CDC Website for full list).
      • If you are over 60 or person of any age with underlying medical conditions, you don’t have to sit in this room, you may sit in the sanctuary if you wish.
      • You are required to wear a mask in this room.
    3. Prayer Meeting Room – The service will be live-streamed on a projector screen
      • This room can be reserved for 2-3 families with younger children already socializing.
      • You must wear a mask when entering and exiting the building or anytime you are outside of this room (i.euse of bathroom).
      • Bring your own laptop with VGA, HDMI or Apple device; speakers will be provided.
      • Please email Nancy@gracedtown.org by 9:00 AM Sat to reserve this room.
    4. Bathrooms:
      • Please limit use of bathroom to essential use
      • Bathrooms will be single use
      • Please accompany children 10 and under to the bathroom
      • Please use disinfectant wipes to wipe surface areas you came in contact with

ARRIVAL

  1. When you park leave 1 empty parking space between you and others.
  2. Maintain at least 6 feet (about 2 arm’s length) of physical distance between other people/households at all times.
  3. Enter through the main doors under the portico.
  4. Please sit in an open pew maintaining at least 6 feet of physical distance.
  5. During the service, if you experience coughing or sneezing, please exit the sanctuary to avoid distraction.

DEPARTURE

  1. After conclusion of the service, please immediately exit the building maintaining at least 6 feet of physical distancing.
  2. Please don’t crowd main doors as this will not allow 6 feet of physical distancing for those existing the building.
  3. You are encouraged to fellowship outside while you maintain physical distancing.
